Trailer loading calculator
Optimised load plans that handle routing, out-of-gauge cargo, pallets and axle weights together. Go from an Excel list to an interactive 3D plan in a few clicks.
Multiple trailer types
The space library comes with ready-made truck and trailer types, and you can spread your cargo across several of them. Optimising for utilisation, for shipping cost or loading in sets is entirely your choice.
Custom trailers
Build your own trailers with the space editor. A double drop-deck trailer or an 8-axle multi-deck super trailer — you set the dimensions, axles, decks and limits yourself.
Road trains
Create configurable road trains by combining tractors, semi-trailers and drawbar units. Choose the composition that fits your needs and let the software load the whole set in seconds.
Routing and stop order
Assign a destination to each load; Loader4D improves the stop order using great-circle distances and loads the trailer LIFO — the last stop's cargo goes deepest, the first stop's stays nearest the door.
Out-of-gauge cargo
Oversized items or legal weight restrictions — Loader4D handles both with ease. It minimises the number of trailers shipped as out-of-gauge, reducing the permits you need.
Axle weight limits
Set weight limits for the front and rear axle groups and be sure the generated plan never exceeds them. The tool also tries to reorganise the cargo to reach the highest utilisation within those restrictions.
Pipes, drums and boxes
Loader4D also plans cylindrical loads such as pipes and drums; they are placed using their bounding box and are handled together with boxed goods in mixed shipments.
Utilise your space better and plan faster
Loader4D's benefits show up from the very first use.
Save money
Fit more cargo into the same equipment: more volume per trip, fewer empty runs.
Save time
Thousands of pieces and multiple units — a load plan is usually ready in seconds.
Gain clarity
With 3D visualisation you and your stakeholders can see, edit and share the plan.
Save the environment
Moving more cargo with fewer vehicles means directly lower carbon emissions.
